In the State of Paraíba semi-arid climate and geology igneous metamorphic rocks dominate, imposes serous limitations concerning storage groundwater. This work aimed to evaluate fractured aquifer in Agreste Paraibano environment. region stands out from regional context scarcity plays an important role supply water periods without rain. evaluated 180 wells located aquifer, encompassing 9 municipalities. All studied well was Groundwater Information System (SIAGAS) database Geological Service Brazil (CPRM). The lithological, flow salinity data waters were integrated with information on rainfall, vegetation cover topography. central portion area (Alagoa Nova, Areia Pilões) greater productivity is accompanied by predominantly sweet waters. scenario possibly due higher incidence rainfall sector presence a thicker mantle weathering, associated sedimentary Serra dos Martins Formation.
